
Facebook Has A New Option to Send Marketing Emails via Pages App
One of the most interesting things popped up on Facebook’s pages app! It was a new tab added to the options ‘Marketing Emails’ with a pop-up message ‘Now you can send customized marketing emails to your email subscribers’.
This is an amazing update that lets the brand and businesses connect to their audiences easier and faster.
Facebook is offering a service that allows users to send marketing emails all from the pages app.
This means, that brands and businesses can reconnect with their email subscribers using marketing emails. All you have to do is select your audience, you have to create your own contact list, customize your design, and you can even track the performance in the same applications.
The screenshot, as I researched and got it from a source online, shows actually how exactly the page looks.
How does it work?
For first, page managers need to confirm email address, and then need to manually add email contacts to their database. The confirmation of the page manager’s email address is required to give them explicit permission to contact themselves with promotional messages via email.
Secondly, when you agree to the terms, you can create email campaigns via the pages app. You can put up the subject line and with the options to put up the contacts or even add new contacts.
Also, you can add the headline, and continue with sending the campaign.
It is a management system that has every detail! From marketing messages including Facebook and Instagram ads and also promotional emails, all of it coming from the Facebook business hub.
The emails sent through Facebook will be delivered via your ‘business.mailbyfb.com’.
I repeat, the only thing is that the contacts can only be added manually!
With the function being a real help for email marketing, but it still has some things that have to be done manually like preparing a database. Composing emails, and send it out to the audience.
The only benefit is that you can now make a presence with email marketing directly from Facebook but it can be a real pain when you have to create a contact list. But, there are a lot of ways to maintain a database in the CRM.
This is a huge advantage for those who use Facebook as the hub for marketing, you can prepare the database of contacts and get ready to get benefited from email marketing. People love to get emails from their brand. Make sure the subject line is compelling enough, and have something in store for the target audience like an offer or an additional discount for attracting them.
